The Twelve Thank-yous of Christmas

Hey everyone!

Welcome to my 2019 twelve days of thank you… technically it will be 2020 in a few days but… whatever! My blog, my rules!

2019 has been a really big year for me, I want to thank the people who have been a part of my 2019 journey. They are not in any particular order, the order of the posts do not reflect their contributions. Ranking is not in the spirit of what this is about.

The first person I want to thank this year is my friend Kathy.

Kathy was the reason why my career took the turn it did. She was the first person who suggested I should look into what the Discovery team did as I would be pretty good at it…. this was 2015… the rest is history.

Kathy is OG Cyber Security with decades of experience under her belt. She was building Security Operations Centres (SOCs) over a decade ago. The breadth of her experience is difficult to match. She is also active in the industry, supports many people who work with or previously worked with her.

She is humble and my personal inspiration.

She has the best war stories and often has me laughing for hours.
